Cook's Woodshop: Cutting Boards. Every kitchen needs a cutting board (or 2 or three 🙂 Grandma needs a new cutting board. Aunt Minnie will thank you for gifting her one. And what's in your kitchen? Toss that micro-plastic bleeding, microbe laden monster (wood has anti-microbial properties). I mill my cutting boards from yard trees I've cut myself: oak, ash, black walnut, apricot, plum, maple, Pacific yew, English holly. They are different colors, shapes, sizes, and thicknesses. My basic cutting boards are made from repurposed oak and maple flooring. I also turn bowls from the same woods: popcorn bowls and candy bowls; car key bowls and coin bowls; beautiful shapes and woods to just admire. I've got a bowl for every purpose. All of my creations are finished with non-toxic walnut oil and beeswax. Booth space 316
